Eaton has named Jeff Lowinger senior vice-president and chief technology officer for the Industrial Sector. Lowinger will report directly to Craig Arnold, vice-chair and COO, Industrial Sector and, functionally, to Ram Ramakrishnan, executive vice-president and CTO, Eaton.
In this role, Lowinger is responsible for leading the technology "road-mapping" for the sector and overseeing new product development.
"Jeff brings a wealth of experience in leading innovation and new product development in global operations," Arnold said. "We're excited to have Jeff join the Industrial Sector team."
Lowinger is active in promoting science, technology, engineering and math, serving on the advisory boards at Rutgers, Concordia, Texas Christian and Penn State universities. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from Rutgers.
